Hi Matt,

I just wanted to tell you how much we love our video. Since we received it right before Christmas all of our family wanted to see it. We must have watched it 15 times this weekend. Every time we see it there is something that we have never noticed before. It was so much fun to be able to view the day through someone else's eyes and see how everything really looked. There is not 1 single thing that we didn't love about this video. You can tell from the video that our families are all about fun and you were able to capture that. We laughed the entire time we watched it. I also wanted to tell you what a great job you did selecting the music. Jeff absolutely loved the version of "Over the Rainbow" that you included. Matt is absolutely one of the best vendors I had the pleasure of working with for my wedding. He has a great personality, and you can really tell that he enjoys what he does. Most of the time I never even realized that he was there, but, when I got the video it looks like he was everywhere! I would highly recommend Matt and Buerhaus Design. My wedding video has already become one of my cherished possessions!From the beginning Matt was an absolute Dream to work with. One of the early selling points for me, before I even saw a sample video, was Matt's website. I work long hours in DC, and I didn't have a lot of time to meet with vendors. I did almost all of my research on-line, and I truly appreciated the fact that Matt has so much information, including his prices, available on his site. Even after booking with Matt, his site was a valuable resource. The song suggestion section was very helpful to me and I loved the fact that I could make payments on-line with the click of a button.Another thing that sets Matt apart from other vendors are his excellent communication skills. Anytime I had a question, and I had lots, Matt always got back to me quickly- usually within a couple of hours. Not only did he give me great ideas but he also comes across as friendly and funny.On the Day of my wedding Matt was fabulous. His equipment was very unobtrusive. In fact, during the Pre-Ceremony Pictures one of my Bridesmaids actually said, "Are you going to have a videographer?" and Matt waved his hand and said, "Yup, I'm right here!"During dinner my Husband and I had elected to show our Baby Picture Montage. Unfortunately, about 2/3 of the way through the montage, Matt had some technical difficulties and was not able to show the end of the montage.* Matt was so upset, he immediately came over and apologized. As compensation, Matt put our Baby Picture Montage up on his website so that our friends and family could go there to see all our pictures. That actually turned out to be great for us! I have heard back from several of my Family members that love the fact that were able to look at the montage again. In addition because of the technical difficulties, Matt gave me 2 extra copies of our video free.I am very pleased with Matt's services. Even when something went wrong, he was very professional and resolved the issue to everyone's satisfaction. In addition his friendly demeanor made him a pleasure to be around on my wedding day. I would highly recommend Matt and Buerhaus Design.

*The problems experienced the day of the wedding with the playback of the photo to video montage was a result of an unforseen problem with the laptop we used to use to show montages. We have since replaced the laptop with portable DVD player devices that have worked like a charm:) As a side note, this was the one and only time in over two years of showing montages that we've ever ran into such a problem, and appreciate the fact that Maria & Chris were very understanding of the matter. It was very frustrating for me!! Thanks again for everything you guys:)

If you're thinking about having a videographer, but are on the fence, my one piece of advice is definitely do it - I waffled back and forth for a while about it, and am soooooo glad I decided to do it. I can honestly say that I I have looked at my video more times than I've looked through my photos!! It's just the best to be able to see things that you missed (or wanted to see again!) from your special day. And Matt is amazing- he was one of my very favorite vendors. He answered every question I had within 24 hours - and was always upbeat and friendly. A very easy person to work with. And his work speaks for itself - you can tell he's loves what he does. Matt, thank you for everything!!

Joe and I just wanted to thank you for the amazing job you did on the video. We absolutely love it. It was much better than anything I could have imagined. It is so great to have this record of the day when there are so many parts we either don't remember or just didn't get to see. We are so glad we decided on it.

When Chris and I received the video, we couldn't wait to watch the final product. When we were finished, neither of us could speak. The quality of the video, the magic you created in editing the film, the emotion you captured, the spirit the video creates, each of these things, from beginning to end, is undeniably perfect and left us speechless. Pictures can capture a moment but video captures the spirit of the day. It is about atmosphere and emotion. The video is absolutely amazing!  It was like watching ourselves in a movie. We were so excited to get back from the honeymoon and have a message from Matt saying that it was to ready to pick up.   I cried the entire time I first watched it.   For the first week we had it  I watched every day. Every family member and friend that watched the video is truly amazed by Matt's talent.  We truly believe it was the best thing we invested in for our wedding.  In fact, my mom was the one that was questioning whether or not we should get  a videographer, and after watching it she was so relieved that I had talked her into it. We just got back from our honeymoon, and waiting for
us was our wedding DVD! What a wonderful surprise!
We absolutely loved it. It literally brought tears to
our eyes as well as many smiles. We laughed, we
cried, it was better than "Cats". :D

Andy, who was skeptical about paying for a video, said that it is the best money he spent on the whole wedding! Matt Buerhaus is the best darn wedding videographer out there. I am encouraging him to move on to the big leagues and start making movies so you better get him while you still can! We just received our video on Friday and we were completely floored by how beautifully and artistically Matt captured our wedding day. It brought tears to my eyes. I had seen Matt’s sample video clips on his website, but I was still stunned by how well the video turned out. It looks like a professional production and I felt like the star of the show. I have never in my life seen such a beautiful wedding video, and Matt is so creative with the music, and editing, that is so enjoyable to watch. I cannot wait to show it to my family and friends. Matt is so awesome too! I get such a kick out of him and we are going to check out one of his semi-pro baseball games (his real passion). Can you believe this guy is so multi talented? I just finished watching my video....again! And I cannot get over how wonderful it is! I wanted to stress to all of the brides who are on the fence about a video to do it! Matt did a wonderful job portraying our wedding day. He captured every detail, things that I missed. The processional ahead of me, when our mothers lit the unity candle, the altar arrangements that I didn't even look at during the ceremony!! Everyone has commented on how much they love our video! And believe me I have shown everyone!! I'm sorry to go on and on, but I really cannot get over how wonderful it is! I feel like I'm watching a "real movie" and I'm the star. Everyone wants to relive their wedding day and now I feel like I can whenever I want to!! I highly recommend Matt Buerhaus, he really did an excellent job!!

After watching the video, we both agreed that Matt met or exceeded our expectations.  We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and/or use him again for other significant events.  As was previously stated, "Matt is a very well kept secret"--that needs to get out!

We Love Buerhaus Design!!!  Our video is amazing!  We absolutely love the way Matt documented our wedding day!  The footage and angles he shoots are perfect as is; but then he edits the footage to create your own personal, professional movie (in dolby digital surround sound-- Brett's favorite part!).    All of our married friends that have seen our video are all impressed and have said things like, "Wow!  You'll actually enjoy watching your 'wedding movie' over the years...unlike our boring video.  We don't have the awesome editing and cool shots.  This is really great!"   The best part!?  Most of our married friends spent twice as much as we did on their videographers!  We truly consider this the most well spent money of our wedding and Highly recommend Buerhaus Design!

Matt did my 4/17/04 wedding and all I can say is that his work is amazing. I have seen a lot of my friends videos that have recently been married and theres don't even compare. The video exceeded my expectations. Every detail is there...he captured my wedding so beautifully, and the music in some of the sections just adds to the effect. My fi and I have watched it so many times already and we have only been married a month. I have shown it to so many people that are just blown away by it as well. I am still getting phone calls from family that I gave a copy of the video to that showed their friends that I don't even know who thought it was wonderful and cried! If anyone is thinking about using him for your wedding, do it--you will not regret it. Also, he is a steal...his prices and so much lower than a lot of other videographers!

Our wedding video arrived and IS AWESOME!!! Matt, we are so pleased and totally impressed with the work you did. I am thrilled that we have such a wonderful documentary of our special day. After looking into several videographers and then meeting with Matt, we knew that he was the videographer for us.  He offers so many great packages that are far more inclusive than any other videographers that I had seen and he was flexible in customizing a package for us.  He came very well prepared to a meeting point close to our home and showed us a demo DVD with a variety of styles of shooting and some great creative touches.  We were really impressed with his knowledge and use of cutting edge technology which seemed to add a lot of unique qualities to his productions.  He is definitely set apart from the rest!
