I just want to express how satisfied my husband and I were by our wedding video! It brought back so many memories of that special day. Everything was so well put together down to the music. One of my favorite parts of the video was the Spotlight which I think in of itself expressed us as a couple on that special day. I would highly recommend Buerhaus Design and am so happy we decided to have a videographer for our wedding. As important as wedding photos were for us, I think the video is just as important. Matt's work definitely captures the important highlights of the day while also adding personality, artistic appeal, and emotions. Thanks so much Matt for a wonderful wedding video that we will forever treasure! We are so excited to share this with our family and friends!

Just watched the video tonight!!!! IT is amazing!!!! I actually only made it through the first hour because I was getting so emotional I had to turn it off for awhile. I am so grateful for the beautiful memories that are forever captured on this DVD. It is done so well, and I am so happy that Billy and I had you do our wedding!!! I sent a copy to Billy overseas, and I really wish we could watch it together, but am so happy we can each have this while separated.

When we first got engaged, we knew that we wanted our wedding to be filmed but certainly not just by a drunken family friend or one of our relatives!! We wanted it professionally done- something that we would have forever and watch with our children. One of our friends had Matt Buerhaus videotape their wedding and they raved about him. From the beginning, Matt was very easy to work with, very professional and he had a great sense of humor- which was a plus! Matt did a fantastic job documenting our big day! Our wedding was June 19th and we just received our DVDs last week. It was WELL WORTH the wait! Matt did not miss one single little detail. I loved the spotlights and format of the video. It is also nice to have the raw footage of the entire day. Having a video of your wedding is a MUST in my opinion...it wil be nice to watch for years and years to come and to show children, grand-children, etc. Unless of course, DVDs become "ancient" like VCRs. LOL. Anyway, I never felt like Matt was in my face but somehow he was there and got everything. I really did not know he was there! It was perfect! He is very easy to reach via email and his website is very informative about what to expect as far as preparation, the day of and what you need to give him to complete the video. I really cannot say enough good things about Matt's services. He is top notch!!!

Having the pleasure of working with Matt on many Weddings, his professionalism and personality all goes into making him the Best in the Business. We did not want anyone else to spotlight this special day.Upset that we dragged our feet in confirming the date with his Company. Matt assured us he would have his team there to get the day started and he would join us soon after. Of course he should take care of his prior commitments and I knew he would put us in good hands. And that is exactly what he did. Truly they are so good at what they do, you don’t even know they are there. Never feeling that you are being filmed at all.

After Matt carefully edited and placed everything with the perfect music, we received the Video package. The Video is Fabulous!!!!! Getting that laugh from the speeches to of course the special dance. I highly highly highly recommend Buerhaus Design. Matt was just absolutley fantastic to work with. He was always responsive to my emails and questions and made me feel so comfortable. He helped arrange some classic shots at my wedding that i wanted and did an amazing job. If you are debating whether or not to use a videographer, you should. And make sure you do it right by using Buerhaus Design!

Matt was always friendly and very responsive to any emails leading up to the wedding day. On the day-of he was very behind-the-scenes during the ceremony and reception, you hardly noticed him at all, but he got some great footage. The edited video we received back from him was wonderful. It exceeded all of my expectations. His editing and special effects he adds are amazing. He made the video both fun and emotional. My Husband did not originally want to pay for a videographer, but after he saw the final product he was so glad we did!

I knew I was going to ask Matt to be the videographer for our wedding ever since he shot my sister's wedding three years earlier. Matt provides an excellent product which covered all of the videography needs. From the photo-montage at the recepiton to the final DVD package, Matt made the process very easy and stress-free. I didn't have to worry about a thing once our timeline was established-- Matt took it from there. He even went above and beyond, coordinating with our photographer to get the best shots at the best locations! I can't tell you how many compliments we got on our photo-montage he prepared for the reception and of course the final DVD!

Matt Buerhaus gave us everything we coudl have wanted from a videographer, and for a great price! I did the research and no one else provided the breadth of service and products as Matt for the price.

Thanks Matt, we'll definitely recommend you highly!

Brian and I recieved our video and we just wanted to let you know that it is AWESOME!! You did such a great job capturing our day and putting it all together. We showed my dad and stepmom yesterday and they both were in tears. We all agreed that even though we loved our photos.... the video was so much better because it brought everything to reality. Seeing everyone laugh, cry, dance, etc. made the day so real.

We got the video last week and absolutely LOVE it! It came out perfectly! It's so amazing to watch the whole day from an outsiders perspective because as the bride, everything goes by in such a blur. As you know, we had been on the fence about getting a videographer but now that we have seen the finished product it was by far one of the best decisions we made! I loved being able to relive our Ketubah signing and ceremony, and also listening to the speeches at the reception again. On the day of, we hardly realized you were even there, yet based on the video you were everywhere! You really did a great job capturing all of the important moments and emotions of the day. Thank you again for giving us such an amazing production.

Matt is a really cool guy, easy to work with, and was great to have around at the wedding. He is very responsive to emails. He was the first and only videographer we met, and after meeting him we didn't think there was a need to search any further. He offers a lot of different packages and they are reasonably priced. He was unobtrusive at the wedding, yet captured great footage. Matt has an artistic eye and we absolutely love how he edited our wedding video. We've watched it so many times! Hiring Matt was a great decision. No regrets!

Words cannot say how pleased we are with Matt and Sandy’s superb work! Here is our story: Vincent and I were engaged at the stroke of midnight as we rang in the New Year of 2009. Two weeks later, we decided to get married on Valentine’s Day (2009). All of our wedding plans were falling in line quite nicely however, I noticed that booking the videographer/photographer was one of the last tasks on our “to do list” that still needed “doing”. So, with Valentine’s Day fast approaching, my loving fiancé, Vincent (now husband) researched the best video-photographers in the area and surrounding areas, and then told me all about Matt and Buerhaus Design. Vincent felt most confident about Matt, over all the other video-photographers, so with only 3 weeks ahead of us, we booked him! Now, let me tell you what a day with Matt and Sandy was like.
While I waited in the limo, Matt hopped into the limo driver’s seat, introduced himself and Sandy, and the n said, “Pretend we’re not even here”. He th en began videotaping and snapping photos. What I immediately noticed about Matt just then, was his energy. He had such an electric energy that surrounded the entire limo, which immediately made me feel at ease. Meanwhile, Sandy was capturing photo shots from outside the limo.
Throughout the ceremony we mostly caught just glimpses of Matt and Sandy. They were always on the go and ready to catch every possible shot, and speaking of catching shots… I can’t forget when I was upstairs checking myself out in the mirror when in the reflection, I saw this beautiful white cat (It looked like a Persian cat) just sitting contently in the chair behind me, and watching me get ready. I happen to love cats, so naturally I walked toward it to try to pet it and maybe try to kiss it on the nose. I think the swishing of my dress is what scared it out of the chair and down the stairs. This is when I saw a side of Matt that made me think he was either crazy in love with photography or just plain crazy. I could tell that he must have been just as excited about the cat as I was or maybe more, just by the way he scurried to get a shot of that cat before it ran down the stairs. I did not suspect that Matt would go after that cat like he did, but he did, and it made me laugh to witness Matt’s exuberant passion for capturing great photo and video moments. I t was a fun and relaxing moment.

After the ceremony, Matt and Sandy clearly communicated to us, how they wanted us to pose. We were never left wondering what to do next. Matt got creative with the poses and made our after ceremony photo/video sessions spontaneous and fun.
As far as the video and video service, the video quality is excellent, and we are really pleased with Matt’s artistic touch. Plus, we love the cinematic style. Furthermore, Matt is a fine person to do business with and truly wants you to be happy. If you are unsure about hiring a video-photographer, this is a part of the wedding you don’t want to leave out. The wedding day goes by fast and you will be glad you got it all on tape. The two of you can then enjoy the memories whenever you want for the rest of your lives, and your kids and grandkids can too. Thanks Matt and Sandy for capturing such beautiful memories and for bringing tears of joy and laughter to our home!

Thank you so much for doing our wedding video. The final product is more than we expected. The song selections you picked, along with the song selections I picked made it a very personalized, memorable video. We hardly knew you were at the reception, and didn't see you at all at the ceremony. You blended in with the crowd, making it a very relaxed atmosphere. Your shots were amazing. I especially liked how you used our first dance song as the closing to the video. Everyone who has seen the video so far has loved it and has cried. They love it. You paid such close attention to details, and for that I am thankful because the day went by so fast. It is great to watch the video and see things that I didn't see during the reception. It was a magnificently done piece of work that we will have for the rest of our lives. We can't wait to show our kids some day. Thank you!!!!
